Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in the construction, engineering, and project delivery sectors, with a focus on how GIS can transform the built environment. Your experience allows you to effectively communicate the value of location intelligence and integrated data environments in enhancing project efficiency and safety. You are skilled in developing content that showcases the impact of GIS in various aspects of construction, including project coordination and site logistics.

You possess excellent collaboration skills, working closely with cross-functional teams such as marketing, sales, and professional services. Your ability to engage with contractors, engineers, architects, and owners enables you to drive awareness and adoption of Esri technology across the global construction ecosystem. You are comfortable presenting complex ideas in a clear and compelling manner, whether through webinars, case studies, or social media.

Your understanding of the construction lifecycle—from planning and design through to field execution and operations—equips you to contribute meaningfully to Esri’s industry strategy. You are proactive in identifying opportunities for thought leadership and industry engagement, ensuring that Esri remains at the forefront of GIS innovation in the AEC sector.

Desirable

Experience with digital twins and their application in construction projects is a plus. Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies will enhance your ability to connect field workflows with design and asset management. A passion for sustainability and safety in construction practices will align well with Esri’s mission.

What you'll do

In this role, you will partner with the AEC Industry Manager to shape and execute Esri’s construction-focused industry strategy. You will develop and publish content that highlights the transformative power of GIS in construction, including webinars and white papers that demonstrate its impact on project efficiency and safety. Your work will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to create compelling narratives that resonate with the construction community.

You will engage directly with industry professionals to showcase how GIS connects the jobsite to the office and enhances project outcomes. This includes participating in industry events and fostering relationships with contractors, engineers, and architects to drive the adoption of Esri technology. Your insights will help shape Esri’s offerings and ensure they meet the evolving needs of the construction sector.

You will also be responsible for analyzing industry trends and identifying opportunities for Esri to lead in the AEC space. Your contributions will help position Esri as a thought leader in the application of GIS technology in construction, ultimately driving business growth and innovation.

What we offer

Esri provides a collaborative and innovative work environment where your contributions can make a significant impact. You will have the opportunity to work with a talented team dedicated to transforming the construction industry through GIS technology. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we value diverse perspectives and backgrounds.

Esri offers competitive compensation and benefits, including opportunities for professional development and growth within the company. Join us in shaping the future of the built environment through the power of GIS.
