Uber is seeking a Field Support Operations Launch Lead to develop and execute the Field Support Operations strategy for Autonomous Vehicles. You'll collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure effective fleet support. This role requires strong technical aptitude and exceptional stakeholder management skills.
You have a strong technical aptitude and exceptional stakeholder management skills — you thrive in ambiguity and are passionate about scaling operational processes in a fast-paced environment. You are a hands-on operator who enjoys building from the ground up and leading teams through complex challenges. Your experience includes managing escalations and driving resolutions for operational issues, ensuring that all partners are aligned and informed. You are comfortable with data and approach it with curiosity and a focus on accuracy, identifying trends that can inform operational improvements.
Experience in the autonomous vehicle industry or related fields is a plus. Familiarity with incident response protocols and training methodologies will help you excel in this role. You understand the importance of collaboration and are committed to fostering a culture of support and excellence within your team.
In this role, you will lead the execution of Uber’s Field Support Operations strategy, focusing on the scaled deployment of Autonomous Vehicles on the Uber platform. You will act as the main point of contact for Field Support Operator partners, managing escalations and driving resolutions for any operational issues that arise. Your responsibilities will include coordinating incident response drills and managing auditing activities with FSO partners to ensure compliance and effectiveness. You will work closely with cross-functional teams at Uber to identify and resolve dependencies, highlight resource requirements, and help define key performance indicators that will guide operational success.
You will also support the training of Field Support Operators in partnership with AV tech partners, ensuring that all team members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively. Your ability to manage relationships with various stakeholders, including local law enforcement and regulators, will be crucial in driving industry-leading rapid responses to infield incidents. You will be accountable for performance metrics and will continuously seek ways to improve operational processes and outcomes.
