Databricks is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Databricks Repos to drive the vision and roadmap for a platform that enhances developer experience. You'll work on version control and workflow solutions for data teams. This role requires strong leadership and product management skills.
You have a proven track record in product management, ideally with experience in data and AI platforms. Your ability to drive product vision and strategy is complemented by your strong communication skills, allowing you to collaborate effectively with engineering and design teams. You understand the unique needs of data teams and can translate those into actionable product features. Your experience includes managing complex projects and leading cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that meet user needs.
Experience with version control systems and workflows is a plus, as is familiarity with Git and collaborative coding environments. You are data-driven and can leverage analytics to inform product decisions. A background in software development or engineering will help you understand the technical challenges faced by your users.
In this role, you will lead the product strategy for Databricks Repos, focusing on enhancing the developer experience for data engineers, ML engineers, and analysts. You will define the roadmap and prioritize features that improve collaboration and code management within the platform. Your responsibilities will include conducting user research to gather insights, working closely with engineering to ensure timely delivery of features, and collaborating with marketing to communicate product benefits to users. You will also be responsible for tracking product performance and iterating on features based on user feedback and analytics.
