Amazon is seeking an Inventory Lead for their Leo Business Development team to manage European operations and inventory planning. This role requires collaboration with supply chain and operations teams to ensure timely stock replenishment.
You have a strong background in inventory management and operations, with experience in leading teams and collaborating across various departments. Your expertise in supply chain processes allows you to effectively manage inventory forecasts and ensure timely stock replenishment. You understand the importance of compliance with export control laws and are eligible to obtain necessary export licenses or approvals based on your nationality and citizenship.
You are skilled in designing and managing inventory planning processes, working closely with third-party providers to establish reorder points, safety stock levels, and delivery schedules. Your ability to analyze seasonal demand patterns and align them with installation forecasts is crucial for the success of the Amazon Leo project.
In this role, you will collaborate with the Leo supply chain, operations, and installation teams to manage inventory forecasts and ensure timely stock replenishment. You will design and manage inventory planning processes with third-party providers, establishing reorder points, safety stock levels, and delivery schedules aligned with Leo's installation forecasts and seasonal demand patterns. You will direct end-to-end inventory operations across multiple distribution centers, focusing on critical satellite inventory management.
You will be responsible for optimizing inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess stock. Your leadership will guide the team in implementing best practices for inventory management, ensuring that all operations comply with relevant regulations. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and drive efficiency in inventory operations.
