Amazon is hiring an RME Coordinator to oversee high-tech intelligent sorters and material handling equipment. You'll work with PLC, SCADA, and various electrical controls systems in Gurugram.
You have a solid understanding of high-tech intelligent sorters and conveyors, along with experience in material handling equipment. Your expertise includes problem-solving PLC code and complex fieldbus IO and SCADA systems, which are crucial for maintaining operational efficiency. You are familiar with Warehouse Control Systems and Telegrams, and you have experience in building, commissioning, or troubleshooting Electrical Controls and Instrumentation Panels. Your ability to understand integrated MHE conveyor systems within the fulfillment center and the systems that interact outside of it sets you apart. You possess a keen understanding of process flows and can analyze metrics and data to identify optimization opportunities.
You have a working knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as ProfiBus, ProfiNet, and Ethernet IP, and you can effectively troubleshoot these systems. Your experience with barcode recognition technology enhances your capability to streamline operations. You are adept at reading and updating electrical and controls schematics, documentation, SOPs, and VSOPs. You have a background in change management processes and can lead a shift team in resolving controls-related issues and implementing improvements. Your understanding of machine safety regulations and safe working practices ensures a secure working environment.
Experience with commissioning special purpose machinery is a plus, as is a basic understanding of IT systems like IP Networking, Server Architecture, and SQL Databases. You thrive in collaborative environments and have experience working within controls or electrical projects as part of a team.
