Job Description

Role Summary

You will turn complex ideas about AI memory, multi-agent systems, and developer infrastructure into narratives that resonate with engineers, founders, and AI enthusiasts alike. From deep-dive blog posts and technical essays to explainers on new research and Mem0’s internal breakthroughs, you’ll shape how the world understands the memory layer for AI.

You will also spearhead Mem0’s technical content engine and be involved in the creation of thought leadership content that defines the emerging category of AI memory infrastructure.

What You'll Do

  • Create high-quality blog content: Write long-form posts, explainers, and thought leadership pieces on AI memory, agentic systems, and the evolving AI stack.

  • Translate research into insight: Break down complex research papers and Mem0’s own technical advancements into clear, readable, and engaging content.

  • Collaborate with engineers & researchers: Partner with the Mem0 team to extract stories, technical ideas, and experiments that deserve to be shared publicly.

  • Develop educational narratives: Write how-to guides and deep dives that help developers think differently about building memory into AI applications.

  • Shape Mem0’s public voice: Work closely with Growth and Product to define our narrative across blog, newsletter, and social channels.

  • Track impact: Use metrics (views, engagement, backlinks, conversions) to refine your storytelling and content strategy.

  • Leverage SEO and keyword insights: Identify high-impact keywords, optimize technical content for discoverability, and ensure Mem0 leads conversations across key AI search topics.

  • Build hands-on projects: Design projects using Mem0, create corresponding blog posts and GitHub repositories, and demonstrate the practical impact of Mem0 in real-world scenarios.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years writing blog posts, whitepapers, or deep-dive explainers for technical audiences (not just documentation).

  • Strong understanding of modern AI infrastructure such as LLMs, RAG systems, vector databases, agent frameworks, embeddings, and memory architectures.

  • Ability to code (Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript) and experiment with tools to validate concepts or examples.

  • Exceptional writing and storytelling skills with the ability to make dense technical material not just clear, but fascinating.

  • Research synthetization: Comfortable synthesizing research papers and technical discussions into accessible narratives.

  • Editorial leadership: Review and edit content created by others, identify which topics and narratives will resonate with developers, and use your deep understanding of the AI memory and developer ecosystem to shape content that performs.

Nice to Have

  • Strong writing portfolio: A public writing portfolio or Substack demonstrating clear, research-informed writing.

  • Technical blogging experience: Experience writing for technical blogs (e.g., Latent Space, Hugging Face, Weights & Biases, Anthropic, etc.).

  • Developer relations or community experience: Speaking at meetups, running workshops, or engaging with developers on Discord/forums.

  • Documentation tooling experience: Familiarity with docs-as-code workflows (Markdown, Git, Mintlify, etc.).

  • SEO & analytics knowledge: Experience optimizing content for search, tracking engagement, and iterating based on metrics.

  • Video/visual content creation: Ability to create technical screencasts, architecture diagrams, or interactive examples.

About Mem0

We're building the memory layer for AI agents. Think long-term memory that enables AI to remember conversations, learn from interactions, and build context over time. We're already powering millions of AI interactions. We are backed by top-tier investors and are well capitalized.

Our Culture

Velocity with craftsmanship - We move fast but never sacrifice reliability or thoughtful design—every system needs to be fast, reliable, and elegant.

Extreme ownership - Everyone at Mem0 is a builder-owner. If you spot a problem or opportunity, you have the agency to fix it. Titles are light; impact is heavy.

High bar, high trust - We hire for talent and potential, then give people room to run. Code is reviewed, ideas are challenged, and wins are celebrated—always with respect and curiosity.

Data-driven, not ego-driven - The best solution wins, whether it comes from a founder or an engineer who joined yesterday. We let results and metrics guide our decisions.
