Who you are

You have a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive repair experience, showcasing your ability to handle extensive repairs and heavy engine work. Your expertise includes advanced vehicle diagnostics, allowing you to troubleshoot and resolve complex automotive issues effectively. You are skilled in repairing advanced vehicle electrical systems and have experience installing, repairing, and replacing vehicle refrigerant and recovery systems. Your knowledge extends to working on all makes and models, including electric and hybrid vehicles, demonstrating your versatility in the automotive field.

You are committed to maintaining high standards of quality and safety in your work, ensuring that every vehicle you service meets the necessary regulations and customer expectations. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to utilize state-of-the-art tools in a high-tech Inspection Center. Your strong communication skills enable you to collaborate effectively with team members and provide excellent service to customers.

Desirable

While not required, additional certifications such as ASE would be beneficial to your application. Experience with the latest automotive technologies and systems will set you apart as a candidate. A valid driver’s license and the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English are essential for this role.

What you'll do

As an Experienced Auto Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing extensive repairs and diagnostics on a wide range of vehicles. Your day-to-day tasks will include diagnosing advanced vehicle electrical issues and executing repairs to ensure optimal vehicle performance. You will also be tasked with installing, repairing, and replacing vehicle refrigerant and recovery systems, which are critical for maintaining vehicle climate control systems.

You will work primarily on the 1st shift, from 6 AM to 3 PM, Monday through Friday, allowing for a consistent work schedule. In this role, you will utilize state-of-the-art tools and technology to conduct your repairs, ensuring that you are equipped to handle the latest automotive advancements. You will also have the opportunity to participate in training programs designed to enhance your skills and advance your career within the company.
