Senior Vulnerability Management Engineer

Who you are

You have over 5 years of experience in a dedicated vulnerability management role, demonstrating a deep understanding of networking protocols and cloud architectures. Your excellent scripting skills in Python or Bash enable you to create custom solutions for vulnerability assessments and remediation processes. You are adept at interpreting and triaging findings from various security tools, including network scanners and Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) systems. Your ability to develop and maintain an asset inventory for dynamic scanning requirements showcases your organizational skills and attention to detail. You thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to participate in Red Team exercises to proactively identify potential vulnerabilities.

Desirable

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent work experience will also be considered. Familiarity with Software Composition Analysis (SCA) and Static Application Security Testing (SAST) will set you apart as a candidate. You are passionate about cybersecurity and committed to continuous learning in this ever-evolving field.

What you'll do

As a Senior Vulnerability Management Engineer at Celonis, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our infrastructure by executing comprehensive vulnerability scans across various technological domains, including network, cloud, and applications. You will interpret and triage findings from network scanners, CSPM, SCA, and SAST, providing actionable intelligence and prioritization metrics to remediation teams. Your expertise will help in developing and maintaining an asset inventory that supports dynamic scanning requirements. You will also create executive-level vulnerability metrics and dashboards to communicate findings effectively. Additionally, you will participate in Red Team exercises to identify potential vulnerabilities proactively, contributing to the overall security posture of the organization.
