You'll be responsible for identifying and developing new sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction. You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in the MidMarket space, where you've successfully identified and developed new business opportunities. Your experience allows you to effectively communicate with professional developers, marketers, and business leaders, ensuring that you can articulate the value of Contentful's offerings. You are results-driven and thrive in a competitive environment, consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals. You understand the importance of nurturing relationships with existing customers and are skilled at expanding accounts to drive revenue growth.
You possess strong negotiation skills and are comfortable leading the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting to closing deals. Your ability to develop a strategic account plan and manage a sales pipeline is essential for success in this role. You are adept at delivering presentations and creating compelling sales proposals that resonate with potential clients. You are also familiar with the tools and processes necessary to maintain accurate sales reports and market knowledge.
Experience in a SaaS environment is a plus, as is familiarity with value-based sales methodologies. You are comfortable working in partnership with customer success teams to ensure that clients achieve their business objectives with Contentful. Your ability to conduct deep account and industry analysis will help you identify opportunities for growth and expansion within your customer base.
As a Mid Market Account Executive at Contentful, you will be responsible for positioning, negotiating, and closing new logo and expansion business within the North American territory. You will meet quarterly and annual sales goals by developing a comprehensive account strategy and managing internal and client processes.
