Databricks is seeking a Senior Account Executive to drive sales in the Public Sector. You'll leverage your expertise in big data and cloud solutions to close deals and expand customer relationships. This role requires strong field sales experience and a proven track record in SaaS sales.
You are a strategic sales professional with a strong background in selling to Public Sector accounts. With a deep understanding of the product, you are passionate about communicating its value to customers and system integrators. You thrive on identifying new opportunities and growing within existing accounts, demonstrating your ability to compress decision cycles and close deals effectively. Your previous experience in an early-stage company has equipped you with the skills to navigate complex sales environments successfully. You have established relationships with CIOs, IT executives, and program managers, which you leverage to drive sales and exceed targets.
Experience in big data, cloud, or SaaS sales is highly desirable, as is familiarity with solution-based selling approaches. You are comfortable using Salesforce to track customer details, manage pipelines, and forecast sales accurately. Your ability to prioritize opportunities and apply appropriate resources will be key to your success in this role.
As an Enterprise Account Executive at Databricks, you will meet with key stakeholders, including CIOs and IT executives, to understand their needs and promote Databricks' enterprise cloud data platform powered by Apache Spark™. You will be responsible for closing both new and existing accounts, identifying quick wins while managing longer, complex sales cycles. Your role will involve exceeding activity, pipeline, and revenue targets, ensuring 100% customer satisfaction throughout the sales process. You will utilize a solution-based approach to selling, creating value for customers and guiding them through the decision-making process. Additionally, you will build a plan for success both internally at Databricks and externally with your accounts, ensuring alignment with customer goals and objectives.
