Sanitation Associate

Who you are

You are someone who is ready to take on the essential functions of a Sanitation Associate, which includes performing typical sanitation tasks to support the production team and the entire facility. You understand the importance of maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in a food production environment. You are capable of lifting and moving up to 25 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds, with or without assistance. You are committed to adhering to all safety standards and requirements, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

What you'll do

As a Sanitation Associate at HelloFresh, you will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all food production equipment and machinery, including production machines, tables, mats, compost bins, sinks, drains, walls, and any surface scheduled for sanitation duties. You will also clean and sanitize all kitting and packing equipment and surfaces, ensuring that everything is up to the highest hygiene standards. Your work will take place in a temperature-controlled environment, and you will be expected to monitor the outside of the facility for waste and debris, transporting empty boxes to compactors as needed. At the end of your shifts, you will sanitize equipment and floors, ensuring that the facility is ready for the next day’s operations.
