You have extensive experience as a Cloud Solution Architect, with a strong focus on Azure infrastructure and applications. Your background includes working with various Azure services, including Azure SQL and PostgreSQL, and you are well-versed in best practices for security and performance. You excel at building trusted relationships with customer IT leaders, acting as their Voice of the Customer, and guiding them through the complexities of cloud migration and modernization.

You possess a deep understanding of hybrid environments and have successfully led architecture sessions to deliver resilient Azure solutions. Your technical expertise extends to SAP and AI workloads, allowing you to optimize environments for health, performance, and security. You are proactive in identifying and resolving technical blockers, ensuring a smooth go-live process for your customers.

Your ability to drive Azure adoption through repeatable IP and delivery excellence sets you apart. You are committed to maintaining high standards in technical delivery and are always looking for ways to enhance the customer experience. Desirable

Experience with AI-scale operations and a passion for helping customers realize the full value of their Azure investments are highly desirable. Familiarity with Microsoft best-practice standards, such as the Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and the Well-Architected Framework (WAF), will be beneficial in this role.

What you'll do

As a Senior Cloud Engineer at Microsoft, you will lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and resilient Azure solutions for our customers. You will be responsible for driving migration and modernization efforts across various workloads, including infrastructure, data, and AI. Your role will involve optimizing environments to ensure they meet the highest standards of performance and security.

You will collaborate with customer IT leaders to understand their needs and challenges, providing expert guidance throughout the migration process. By leading architecture sessions, you will help customers design Azure landing zones that align with their business objectives. Your technical delivery will encompass end-to-end ownership, ensuring that success and consumption plans are in place for each project.

In addition to technical responsibilities, you will also play a key role in generating follow-on opportunities that align with customer needs and Enterprise Support priorities. Your ability to maintain deep technical expertise in Azure services will be crucial in identifying new areas for growth and improvement.
