What you'll do

As the Engineering Manager for the Data Acquisition team, you will oversee all aspects of team leadership, ensuring that your team is motivated and aligned with the company's goals. You will provide technical leadership, guiding your team in the development and maintenance of Lucidworks' data ingestion platform. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify client needs and translate them into actionable engineering tasks. You will participate in the design and implementation of connectors that facilitate the indexing of client data from various sources, ensuring high quality and reliability in the output.

You will also be responsible for continuously iterating on processes to improve efficiency and product quality. This includes mentoring team members, conducting performance reviews, and fostering a culture of innovation and accountability. You will work closely with the VP of SaaS Engineering to align team objectives with broader company strategies and ensure that the team is equipped with the necessary resources and support to succeed.
