About the Role

We are looking for an upbeat, reliable individual with the hunger to learn in a fast-paced startup culture. The ideal candidate will have a tenacious nature; not being afraid to take on new challenges or step outside of their comfort zone to get things done. This person will be extremely organized with excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills and possess the ability to complete complex tasks and projects quickly with little to no guidance. Understanding basic company organization, working relationships, and team dynamics will be key, as will actively contributing to the community with a positive attitude and approachable demeanor.

Responsibilities

  • Office Manager:
    • Oversee the day-to-day maintenance and operations of our facilities
    • Coordinate our front desk experience to create a hospitable environment for employees and guests at HQ
    • Manage office ordering that includes but is not limited to supplies, snacks and beverages, and swag to support employees
    • Manage vendor contracts and service agreements for cleaning, security, etc.
    • Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and facility improvements

 

  • Administrative:
    • Assist Marketing, HR, Finance, other teams with various tasks and employee events
    • Plan and coordinate domestic and international travel
    • Organize team activities (staff meetings, all-hands meetings, and social events)
    • Complete timely corporate card expense reports each month
    • Manage other key administrative activities as needed (space planning, updating organizational charts, etc.)

 

  • Other:
    • Maintain and respond to employees on all communication threads (email, Slack, in person) with exceptional customer service and within our service level
      timelines 
    • Ensure that all new hires are set up properly on their first day, and be a resource to all remote employees
    • Provide data on office programs to help drive decisions
    • Manage sensitive matters with a high level of confidentiality and discretion
    • Provide resolution and problem solving through excellent customer service
    • Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of related experience preferred
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities within agreed upon timelines and budgets
  • Proactive nature with the ability to pursue unforeseen challenges
  • Ability to handle administrative details independently and set priorities without regular supervision
  • Attention to detail, organizational planning, time management, and multi-tasking abilities
  • Thoughtful communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a spectrum of personalities
  • Passion for service
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask

The annual pay range for the role is USD $45,000 - $67,000
