Experience in AI-related legal issues is a plus, as is familiarity with privacy, cybersecurity, and corporate law. You are comfortable managing outside counsel and overseeing all aspects of litigation, from discovery to trial preparation. What you'll do

In this role, you will provide legal advice and counsel on a wide range of global litigation and regulatory matters. You will manage and oversee outside counsel in all aspects of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and settlement negotiations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Communications, Global Affairs, and Executive teams, to ensure that OpenAI's legal strategies align with its business objectives. Staying current on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends will be essential, as you will be responsible for providing updates and legal guidance to company leadership. Your role will also involve assessing compliance with legal standards and helping to shape OpenAI's approach to legal challenges in the rapidly evolving field of artificial intelligence.
