We are a growing team looking for a Disponente Ufficio Traffico - Spot in the Commercial department to help us on our journey to revolutionize road freight logistics. The role is located in our Milan office.

WHAT YOU WILL DO …

As a Spot Traffic & Carrier Growth Specialistt, you’ll work on interesting responsibilities, including owning the relationships with carriers and customers to drive business growth. You’ll be collaborating closely with the Operations Supervisor, Operations, Commercial, Finance and Quality teams to ensure smooth transports execution and chase the biggest market opportunities.

In this role you will:

• Be the co-owner of the P&L and the growth of the spot department to scale the spot business from A to Z, keep increasing its relevance company wide;
• Manage Carriers and Customers interactions in day-to-day operations with a focus on maximizing profitability and identifying spot business opportunities;
• Expand our carrier network within Italian and International companies by identifying and onboarding new key carrier partners;
• Collaborate with Commercial Team to identify unexplored customer opportunities
• Ensure adherence to existing operational processes and support the creation of new ones to ensure efficiency, generate additional revenue and reduce costs

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR …

• 1 to 5 years of experience in Road Freight Brokerage with preferred previous experience in Full Truck Load, fleet management;
• Organizational skills with a great attention to details;
• A problem solver approach, quick thinking as well as an entrepreneurial and proactive mindset;
• Ideally a native level of Italian language and a very good English knowledge;
• Confidence in using data and ability to analyze and track key metrics.
