Customer Engineer, Platform, Google Cloud (English, Turkish)

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 10 years of experience in cloud-native architecture, ideally in a customer-facing or support role. Your expertise includes core infrastructure concepts such as compute, storage, networking, and containers, particularly with Docker and Kubernetes. You are fluent in English and Turkish, enabling you to effectively communicate with technical stakeholders and executive leaders. You have a strong understanding of security concepts, including encryption, identity management, and access control, which are crucial for maintaining secure cloud environments. Your experience extends to networking concepts such as software-defined networking, routing, and load balancers, which are essential for designing robust cloud solutions. You have a proven track record of building and maintaining customer relationships, particularly in enterprise accounts, and have led data center migration projects that involve discovery, dependency mapping, and execution.

Desirable

Experience with big data technologies and concepts, such as analytics warehousing and data processing, is a plus. Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible, as well as designing CI/CD pipelines, will set you apart. You are also knowledgeable about modern cloud-native practices, including microservices and serverless architectures, which are vital for driving true cloud-native adoption.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of multi-year modernization strategies for customers, helping them transition to cloud-native architectures. You will recommend integration strategies and enterprise architectures that align with customer needs, ensuring successful implementation of complete solutions on Google Cloud. Your responsibilities will include engaging with customers to understand their infrastructure requirements and guiding them through the adoption of cloud technologies. You will also be involved in presenting technical solutions to stakeholders, ensuring they are well-informed about the benefits and capabilities of Google Cloud. Your role will require you to stay updated on the latest cloud technologies and trends, enabling you to provide the best advice and solutions to customers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that customer projects are executed smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of Google Cloud's initiatives.
