Overview

Datadog is seeking a Director of Channels to drive revenue by building and scaling a partner community. You'll work with AWS, GCP, and Microsoft Azure to develop strategic technology partnerships. This role requires strong leadership and partnership management skills.

Who you are

You have extensive experience in channel management and partnerships, ideally with a focus on technology companies. Your background includes building and scaling partner ecosystems that drive significant revenue growth. You excel in recruiting and developing high-performing teams, recognizing exceptional talent, and coaching them for success. You understand the importance of collaboration across various functions, including sales, marketing, and product development, to achieve shared goals. Your strategic mindset allows you to identify and leverage opportunities within the partner network effectively. You are comfortable working in a hybrid environment, valuing both in-person collaboration and remote flexibility.

Desirable

Experience working with cloud service providers and technology partners is a plus. Familiarity with the Datadog platform or similar observability tools will help you hit the ground running. You have a proven track record of executing successful go-to-market strategies and enabling partners to achieve their business objectives.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the charge in building and managing Datadog's partner community, focusing on system integrators, managed service providers, and resellers. You will be responsible for recruiting new partners into the Datadog Partner Network, ensuring they are equipped to drive incremental revenue and deliver successful outcomes for end customers. Your leadership will be crucial in accelerating existing partners' businesses through effective business and technical enablement. You will collaborate closely with Datadog's regional enterprise and commercial sales organizations, as well as marketing and customer success teams, to create a cohesive strategy that maximizes partner contributions to revenue growth. You will also develop and refine Datadog's strategy for technology partnerships with major players like AWS, GCP, and Microsoft Azure, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. Your role will involve regular performance assessments of partners, providing feedback and support to help them succeed. You will also represent Datadog at industry events and conferences, showcasing the value of our partner ecosystem.
