Business Development Manager, Agentic Commerce

Who you are

You have a proven track record in business development, ideally with 5+ years of experience in a technology-driven environment. Your ability to identify and develop new business opportunities is complemented by strong customer relationship skills. You excel in communication, presentation, and interpersonal interactions, allowing you to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. You thrive in cross-functional settings, collaborating effectively with product, marketing, and sales teams to drive strategic initiatives.

Desirable

Experience in the financial services sector or with AI technologies is a plus. Familiarity with agentic commerce and its applications will help you engage effectively with early adopters and understand their unique challenges.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be at the forefront of a rapidly evolving space, helping to define and execute Stripe's strategy for enabling AI agents to thrive online. You will engage with early adopters among AI companies, marketplaces, and developers to understand their needs and challenges in leveraging financial services within agentic workflows. This includes companies focused on personal shopping agents and those building AI-powered applications. You will develop a deep understanding of agentic commerce use profiles, including traditional companies exploring AI, marketplaces with monetization needs, personal shopping agents requiring spend/hold/receive functionalities, and developers seeking Stripe integration. Your role will involve articulating Stripe’s narrative on agentic commerce and its value proposition to various audiences, demonstrating how Stripe is solving key problems such as automating financial services, monetizing AI APIs, and usage-based billing models.
