Overview

Amazon is hiring a Data Center Manager to oversee operations at one of the world's largest Cloud Computing Infrastructure facilities. You'll manage teams, optimize processes, and ensure operational excellence. This role requires experience in data center management and team leadership.

Who you are

You are a proven Data Center Manager with extensive experience in managing teams of high performers. You have a strong background in data center operations, whether through building or managing facilities, and you excel at developing relationships with both internal teams and external vendors. Your leadership style focuses on driving performance and operational excellence, ensuring that your teams meet the high standards expected at Amazon. You are adept at refining processes and implementing improvements that enhance efficiency and safety in data center operations.

You possess a deep understanding of the technical challenges faced in data center management and are skilled at innovating solutions to complex problems. Your experience includes maintaining existing data centers and assisting in the construction and launch of new facilities. You are committed to adhering to and exceeding local health and safety standards, ensuring that all operations are conducted safely and effectively.

Desirable

Experience with cloud computing infrastructure and familiarity with service methodologies will be advantageous. You are someone who believes in continuous improvement and is always looking for ways to enhance processes and procedures within your team and the broader organization.

What you'll do

As a Data Center Manager at Amazon, you will lead and develop teams of engineers, providing both technical and leadership expertise to ensure the highest levels of performance. You will be responsible for maintaining existing data centers and assisting in the construction and launch of new facilities.
