Overview

Axon is seeking an Account Manager focused on Growth & Acquisition to drive strategic growth in major law enforcement accounts. You'll work closely with key stakeholders to deepen customer relationships and achieve revenue goals. This role requires strong relationship-building skills and experience in complex environments.

Who you are

You have a proven track record in account management, particularly within the public sector or law enforcement, where you've successfully driven growth and built strong relationships. Your ability to navigate complex government environments sets you apart, as you understand the nuances of working with major city police departments and county sheriff’s offices. You are a proactive closer, skilled at orchestrating cross-functional success from initial discovery to long-term adoption of solutions. Your deep customer empathy allows you to connect with clients and understand their needs, ensuring that you can effectively support their transformation goals.

You thrive in environments that require strategic thinking and adaptability. With a focus on driving revenue and growth, you are comfortable collaborating with various teams to coordinate resources and ensure that solutions deliver measurable outcomes. Your communication skills are exceptional, enabling you to articulate value propositions clearly and effectively to diverse stakeholders. You are passionate about making a difference and are motivated by the mission to protect life through transformative technology.

Desirable

Experience in sales or account management within technology or public safety sectors is a plus. Familiarity with cloud software and devices used in law enforcement can enhance your effectiveness in this role. What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue and growth across a territory of major law enforcement accounts. You will work closely with a Key Account Leader to co-own revenue goals and develop strategies that align with the needs of your clients. Your primary focus will be on closing new business and expanding existing accounts, ensuring that Axon's solutions are effectively integrated into their operations.

You will engage in regular travel to meet with clients, fostering relationships that lead to long-term partnerships. Your ability to understand and navigate the complexities of government agencies will be crucial as you work to support public safety transformation initiatives. You will coordinate resources across teams to ensure that clients receive the support they need to achieve their goals.

Your role will also involve analyzing market trends and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth. You will collaborate with product and engineering teams to relay customer insights that can inform future product development. By leveraging your expertise in account management, you will help shape the direction of Axon's offerings in the law enforcement sector.
