Combustion Device Design Engineer [Huracan]

Who you are

You hold a Master's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering, or a related technical discipline, and have a minimum of 2 years of related experience. You possess strong technical fundamentals in cold mechanics, numerical structural analysis, and materials. Your proficiency with structural FEM analysis software, particularly Ansys, allows you to effectively analyze complex designs. Additionally, you are skilled in CAD software, with Siemens NX being an asset, enabling you to create detailed designs for combustion devices.

What you'll do

As a Combustion Device Design Engineer at The Exploration Company, you will lead the mechanical design and analysis of combustion device sub-components. You will support the functional and mechanical design of these devices, ensuring they meet the required specifications. Your role will involve reviewing subsystem requirements and conducting trades to define the architecture of combustion devices. You will iterate on subsystem designs using both simulated and real-world test data, ensuring optimal performance. Furthermore, you will support combustion device components and assembly test campaigns, which includes defining configurations, preparing tests, executing them, and analyzing results to drive improvements.
