Guidepoint is seeking an Employment Law Counsel to provide legal advice on employment matters and dispute resolution. You'll work closely with the Human Resources department and oversee compliance with labor laws. This role requires experience in employment law and offers a salary range of $160,000—$200,000.
You have a strong background in employment law, with experience advising on performance management, terminations, and workplace investigations. You understand the complexities of labor and employment regulations and are adept at interpreting changes in the law to ensure compliance. You are skilled in collaborating with Human Resources to develop and maintain compliant employment policies and training materials. Your experience includes overseeing outside counsel and managing litigation and pre-litigation matters effectively. You are detail-oriented and possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to convey legal risks and strategies clearly to internal clients. You are committed to fostering an equitable and welcoming environment within the workplace, regardless of background or identity.
In this role, you will provide legal counsel on a broad range of employment-related issues, ensuring that the company adheres to all relevant laws and regulations. You will partner with the Human Resources department to create and update employment policies and handbooks, ensuring they reflect current legal standards.
