You have a strong background in employment law, with experience advising on performance management, terminations, and workplace investigations. You understand the complexities of labor and employment regulations and are adept at interpreting changes in the law to ensure compliance. You are skilled in collaborating with Human Resources to develop and maintain compliant employment policies and training materials. Your experience includes overseeing outside counsel and managing litigation and pre-litigation matters effectively. You are detail-oriented and possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to convey legal risks and strategies clearly to internal clients. What you'll do

In this role, you will provide legal counsel on a broad range of employment-related issues, ensuring that the company adheres to all relevant laws and regulations. You will partner with the Human Resources department to create and update employment policies and handbooks, ensuring they reflect current legal standards. You will monitor changes in labor laws and advise the company on necessary adjustments to policies and practices. Additionally, you will handle litigation matters, including drafting and negotiating contracts related to employment agreements and other legal documents. You will work closely with the legal team to assess legal risks associated with corporate initiatives and product development, providing strategic advice to minimize those risks. Your role will also involve reviewing marketing materials for compliance with applicable laws, ensuring that all communications align with legal standards. You will contribute to the development of the company's compliance framework, helping to implement policies and procedures that promote ethical practices across the organization.

Guidepoint offers a competitive salary range of $160,000—$200,000, along with an annual discretionary bonus based on performance.
