Xometry is seeking a MFG/DFM Engineer to oversee the technological and production processes of customer products. You'll perform DFM analysis and coordinate product development, requiring a background in manufacturing engineering and CNC machining.
You have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related technical field, and you bring 4-5 years of experience in an engineering and manufacturing environment. With 3-5 years specifically focused on manufacturing engineering, particularly in CNC machining, you possess a strong understanding of the production process and its challenges. Your ability to prioritize tasks and communicate effectively allows you to navigate demanding situations with ease. You thrive on working at the edge of innovation and are eager to transform the manufacturing industry.
Experience with DFM analysis and familiarity with engineering change management processes are highly desirable. You have a keen eye for detail, ensuring compliance between 2D drawings and 3D models, and you are adept at coordinating product launches into production. Your background equips you to act as a liaison between customers and suppliers, facilitating smooth communication and collaboration.
As a MFG/DFM Engineer at Xometry, you will be responsible for performing DFM analysis to ensure that products meet technical requirements and are ready for production.
