Overview

Squarespace is seeking a Mid-Level Data Analyst to enhance their paid media experimentation efforts. You'll collaborate with marketing teams to design and analyze experiments, utilizing skills in SQL and Google Analytics. This hybrid role is based in New York City.

Who you are

You have 3+ years of experience in a marketing analytics or data science role, where you've honed your skills in designing and analyzing experiments that drive marketing strategies. Your hands-on experience allows you to frame hypotheses and outcomes effectively, ensuring that your recommendations are clear and actionable. You are adept at creating repeatable processes that enhance the consistency and scalability of marketing efforts across teams.

Your expertise in SQL and familiarity with tools like Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager enable you to analyze data effectively and translate results into meaningful insights. You understand the importance of a test-and-learn culture and are passionate about promoting this approach within your organization. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with marketing, data science, and engineering teams to achieve common goals.

Desirable

Experience with A/B testing methodologies and tools will set you apart, as you will be responsible for developing various types of experiments across direct response and brand media channels. Your ability to monitor industry best practices and tools will help refine the experimentation approach at Squarespace.

What you'll do

In this role, you will partner with in-house marketing teams to translate business questions into clear hypotheses and measurable outcomes. You will develop several types of experiments aimed at measuring incrementality and optimizing performance across different media channels. Analyzing results will be a key part of your responsibilities, as you will need to translate findings into relevant recommendations that drive marketing strategies.

You will build frameworks, plans, and dashboards that promote consistency in experimentation and reporting across channels and teams. Collaborating with Data Science, Engineering, and other Analysts, you will develop repeatable frameworks and processes that enhance testing capabilities across the organization. Your role will also involve monitoring the latest industry best practices and tools to continuously refine the experimentation approach.
