You possess a solid understanding of electrical systems, including three-phase electrical systems, switch gear, UPSs, and PDUs — you are comfortable working with stand-by diesel generators and related fuel systems. Your mechanical knowledge extends to cooling systems, air handlers, and pumps, enabling you to address a wide range of operational challenges. You are detail-oriented and proactive in identifying potential issues before they escalate, ensuring that all systems function optimally.

What you'll do

As an Engineering Operations Technician at Amazon, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting mission-critical facilities within the data center. You will perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on critical infrastructure, including generators, cooling systems, and electrical distribution systems.
