You are also comfortable working with security equipment and participating in construction projects to enhance site security.

Desirable

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the physical security operations of Amazon's data centers. Your day will typically begin with a comprehensive review of any security incidents or operational issues that occurred. You will conduct thorough security system checks, including testing access control systems, verifying camera operations, and reviewing alarm panel statuses. Throughout the day, you will actively participate in operations meetings with the DC Operations team to align on security protocols and procedures.

You will develop and implement security policies and procedures, ensuring consistent deployment across all sites. Your role will involve handling site incidents and working closely with security equipment to maintain a secure environment. You will also participate in re-occurring site audits and reviews, ensuring compliance with security standards and identifying areas for improvement.

As part of your responsibilities, you will drive day-to-day process improvement activities and manage vendors to enhance security operations. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure that security measures are integrated into construction projects and other operational activities. Your leadership skills will be crucial in fostering a culture of security awareness and compliance within the team.
