You have a strong background in procurement and supply chain management, with a focus on construction projects. Your experience includes developing and implementing contract management processes that ensure successful project execution. You excel at creating sourcing strategies that reduce risk and meet purchasing department targets, including payment terms and cost savings. You are skilled at building and maintaining relationships with key internal stakeholders, optimizing the value of products and services to support business unit requirements. You thrive in fast-paced environments and can think outside the box to achieve company objectives regarding value and partnerships with suppliers.

Desirable

Experience in the aerospace or construction industries is a plus, as is familiarity with capital purchases and construction project management. You understand the importance of continuous cost reduction programs for controllable expenditures and have a track record of driving successful procurement initiatives.

What you'll do

In this role, you will work directly with key internal stakeholders to develop and implement a comprehensive contract management process that ensures a successful project execution cycle. You will create sourcing strategies for assigned categories to reduce risk and meet targets for the purchasing department, focusing on payment terms, cash targets, and cost savings. You will communicate, manage, and drive supplier performance to align with SpaceX's objectives, ensuring that suppliers meet the company's standards for cost, quality, and delivery. Your ability to influence and shape suppliers will be crucial as you challenge the supply chain to improve continuously.

You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining key internal stakeholder relationships to create strategic sourcing models that optimize the value of products and services. This includes supporting capital purchases and construction projects for the construction and facilities organizations. Your role will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure that procurement strategies align with overall business goals and contribute to the success of SpaceX's ambitious projects.
