What you'll do

As a Staff Security Engineer at Olo, you will act as the technical lead for the Security Blue Team, overseeing the development and implementation of security defenses. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize security initiatives based on risk assessments. Your role will involve mentoring junior team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise to enhance the team's overall capabilities. You will also be responsible for executing projects that improve the security posture of Olo's systems, ensuring that client data is protected while maintaining operational efficiency.

You will engage in threat modeling and vulnerability assessments, working closely with engineering teams to integrate security into the development lifecycle. Your insights will help shape the security strategy and guide the organization in adopting best practices. You will also participate in incident response activities, helping to investigate and remediate security incidents as they arise.
