Senior User Experience Designer - Bangalore

Who you are

You have a strong background in user experience design, with at least 5 years of experience creating user-centered designs for complex products. Your portfolio showcases your ability to translate product strategy into simple, powerful, and human-centered experiences. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to define problems and validate solutions. You are empathetic and understand the importance of user feedback in the design process, ensuring that the solutions you create truly meet user needs.

You are proficient in design tools such as Figma, which you use to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs. You have a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating visually appealing and cohesive user interfaces. Your experience includes conducting user research and usability testing to gather insights that inform your design decisions. You are comfortable presenting your designs and rationale to stakeholders, advocating for the user experience throughout the product development process.

Desirable

Experience with design systems and creating scalable design solutions is a plus. Familiarity with agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams will help you succeed in this role. What you'll do

In this role, you will own the design of one or more core product areas within the SolarWinds Observability Platform. You will collaborate deeply with product managers and engineers to understand user needs and translate them into intuitive designs. Your responsibilities will include conducting user research, creating wireframes and prototypes, and iterating on designs based on user feedback. You will ensure that the user experience is cohesive across different product areas, maintaining a high standard of quality in your designs.

You will participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to your peers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the design team. You will also stay updated on industry trends and best practices in user experience design, applying this knowledge to enhance the products you work on. Your contributions will directly impact how users interact with the SolarWinds platform, helping to create a seamless and enjoyable experience.
