What you'll do

As a Staff Backend Engineer at Okta, you will play a crucial role in expanding and hardening the core of Axiom’s platform. You will design and implement features that enhance how developers, security, and operational teams manage access at scale. Your work will directly impact the security and efficiency of workflows across various environments, including cloud, SaaS, and containers.

You will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and design teams to ensure that features are delivered quickly and securely. Your responsibilities will include defining technical requirements, conducting code reviews, and mentoring junior engineers. You will also be involved in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues that arise in production environments, ensuring that the platform remains robust and reliable.

In this hybrid role, you will have the flexibility to work both remotely and on-site in Tel Aviv, allowing you to balance collaboration with focused work time. You will contribute to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, helping to shape the future of identity management at Okta.
