Apple is hiring an Experienced DfT Engineer to contribute to the design of future generations of revolutionary products. You'll work with technologies like Verilog and JTAG in a hands-on development team based in Munich.
You hold a Bachelor or Master's in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or possess equivalent strong experience. You are fluent in English and have a solid understanding of industrial standards and practices in DfT, including ATPG, JTAG/1500 debug, and MBIST. Your expertise allows you to navigate the trade-offs between test quality and test time effectively.
You have experience developing DfT specifications and driving DfT architecture and methods for designs. Your confidence with Verilog and/or VHDL, along with your experience using simulators and waveform debugging tools, sets you apart. You demonstrate a proven understanding of design verification methodologies for validating DfT, which is crucial for this role.
In this highly visible role, you will be at the center of a System-on-Chip design effort, collaborating with various fields to ensure functional products reach millions of customers quickly. You will engage in hands-on development, contributing to engineering perfection, creativity, and innovation at Apple.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to research and develop solutions that do not yet exist, pushing the boundaries of technology. Your role will involve analyzing and improving existing DfT processes, ensuring that the designs meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
You will also be responsible for mentoring junior engineers, sharing your knowledge of DfT practices, and fostering a culture of innovation within the team. Your contributions will directly impact the success of Apple's product lines, making your work both challenging and rewarding.
