You have 5+ years of experience in accounting, with a strong understanding of local GAAP and financial regulations — you've successfully navigated complex accounting issues and provided technical guidance in previous roles. What you'll do

As a Senior Accountant at Esri, you will support the month and year-end close processes for all domestic entities — ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial statements while complying with local GAAP and regulations. You will conduct monthly close functions, including reviewing and preparing general ledger entries and monthly reconciliations, while supporting necessary management reporting analysis.

You will ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting, developing and maintaining accounting policies and procedures that adhere to best practices. Your role will involve supporting and implementing complex accounting issues and transactions, providing technical guidance and recommendations to the finance team.

You will interact closely with Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) teams, effectively communicating transactions that impact results and forecasts — your insights will contribute to short-range outlooks and annual planning processes. Additionally, you will support operational areas that directly impact domestic accounting activities, such as Accounts Payable and asset management.

You will drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the accounting function — your contributions will help streamline operations and ensure compliance across all financial activities.
