Job Description

Who you are

You are a qualified individual with a passion for informing the decisions of senior corporate executives. This unique position allows for significant ownership of your views, as well as exposure to how macroeconomic, political, and business analysis feeds directly into corporate plans and actions for the world’s largest multinationals. You are eager to conduct ongoing research and analysis, including political analysis, economic research, and forecasting, while monitoring market trends in North America and the broader global economy.

You thrive in a collaborative, meritocratic team culture where you will receive daily coaching, feedback, and support. Your analytical mindset enables you to create, maintain, and pressure test views on major issues relating to your markets, using these insights to advise senior executives at large multinationals. You are driven by the opportunity to impact the business plans and operations of leading organizations.

Desirable

While not required, any experience in macroeconomic analysis or political research would be beneficial. A background in economics or a related field could enhance your understanding of the complexities involved in this role.

What you'll do

As a Global Macro Junior Contractor, you will report to the Associate Practice Leader for Global Economics and North America. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor, analyze, and create a view on major ongoing political and economic issues across North America and the global economy. You will be part of FrontierView’s global research team, which produces all syndicated content for a client base of several thousand senior executives at multinational organizations.

You will collaborate closely with the commercial team to support FrontierView’s growth strategy and ongoing client relationships. Your role will involve conducting thorough research and analysis, synthesizing information into actionable insights, and presenting your findings to senior executives. You will be expected to stay informed about macroeconomic and political trends and how they affect business operations.

What we offer

This position offers a unique opportunity to gain insights into the intersection of macroeconomics and corporate strategy. You will be part of a dynamic team that values collaboration and knowledge sharing. While specific salary details are not mentioned, you can expect a supportive environment that fosters professional growth and development. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we value diverse perspectives and backgrounds.
