Smarsh is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead its FedRAMP High authorization initiative. You'll be responsible for the end-to-end execution of FedRAMP High readiness and work closely with federal agencies and internal teams. This role requires deep FedRAMP expertise and strong leadership skills.
You have extensive experience in program management, particularly in compliance and regulatory frameworks, with a focus on FedRAMP. Your background includes leading complex projects that require cross-functional collaboration and a deep understanding of federal compliance requirements. You excel in managing relationships with third-party assessment organizations (3PAOs) and federal agency sponsors, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed throughout the process.
Your leadership style is collaborative and inclusive, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability. You have a proven track record of successfully guiding teams through the FedRAMP authorization process, demonstrating your ability to navigate challenges and drive results. You are detail-oriented and possess strong analytical skills, allowing you to assess risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
You are passionate about compliance and understand the importance of maintaining high standards in regulated industries. Your communication skills are exceptional, enabling you to articulate complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. You thrive in high-visibility roles and are comfortable presenting to senior leadership and external stakeholders.
Experience with cloud service providers and familiarity with NIST standards are highly desirable. You may also have certifications related to project management or compliance, which would further enhance your qualifications for this role.
In this role, you will lead the FedRAMP High authorization initiative for Smarsh, overseeing all aspects of the program from readiness assessment to authorization and continuous monitoring. You will coordinate with internal product and engineering teams to ensure that all necessary documentation and processes are in place for a successful authorization. Your responsibilities will include developing project plans, timelines, and milestones, as well as managing resources and budgets effectively.
You will work closely with 3PAOs to facilitate assessments and ensure that all compliance requirements are met. This will involve preparing teams for audits, conducting gap analyses, and implementing necessary changes to meet FedRAMP standards. You will also be responsible for maintaining ongoing communication with federal agency sponsors, providing updates on progress and addressing any concerns that may arise.
Your role will require you to stay current with changes in FedRAMP requirements and best practices, ensuring that Smarsh remains compliant and competitive in the public sector market.
