You have extensive experience in support engineering, particularly in the realms of Data and AI, and have a proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams. Your leadership style emphasizes coaching and mentoring, ensuring that your team members grow and excel in their roles. You are adept at managing complex technical issues and have a deep understanding of the technologies involved, including Apache Spark and Machine Learning. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with engineering and product teams to enhance support processes and product quality. You are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive team culture, recognizing that varied perspectives lead to better solutions. You have a strategic mindset, capable of defining and tracking goals that align with both team and organizational objectives.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all Support Engineering operations during AMER/LATAM business hours, ensuring that your team is equipped to handle escalations and complex support cases. You will build and manage a regional team of Spark, ML, and AI Technical Solution Engineers in São Paulo, focusing on hiring, retaining, and developing top talent. You will partner with Engineering and Product teams to improve product supportability by embedding diagnostics and observability into design and delivery processes. As a player-coach, you will provide technical leadership, conducting deep dives and root cause analyses while scaling organizational processes and tools. You will drive structured training and knowledge-sharing initiatives, ensuring that your team is well-prepared to meet customer needs. Your role will also involve defining quarterly goals for team growth and individual development, fostering a culture of performance excellence.
