Convene is seeking a Head of Food to lead culinary innovation and excellence across the UK. You'll collaborate with global teams to develop UK-specific menus and foster a positive kitchen culture. This role requires a visionary culinary leader with a strategic mindset.
You are a visionary culinary leader with a deep appreciation for the UK’s rich and diverse food scene. You have a proven track record of driving innovation and championing quality in culinary experiences. Your exceptional palate and strategic mindset enable you to scale culinary programs that consistently wow guests. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are committed to fostering a positive and empowering kitchen culture. You have experience leading kitchen teams and establishing high food standards that inspire creativity and excellence.
Experience in menu innovation and adaptation to local markets is a plus. A background in managing culinary teams across multiple locations would be beneficial. You are passionate about building inclusive and diverse kitchen environments, and you understand the importance of community engagement in culinary practices.
In this role, you will set the standard for culinary excellence at Convene across the UK. You will collaborate with the global culinary team to envision and develop new menu concepts that cater to the distinct preferences of the British market. Your leadership will be instrumental in adapting these concepts to create UK-specific menus that leverage local ingredients and suppliers. You will provide hands-on leadership to UK kitchen teams, cultivating a positive and collaborative kitchen culture where creativity thrives. You will also be responsible for operational excellence, ensuring that the highest food standards are upheld across all kitchens. Your strategic mindset will help drive the culinary program globally, partnering closely with the US-based Sr. Director of Food & Beverage to scale culinary experiences.
