Quartzy is hiring a Territory Manager to drive gross profit growth in the Boston metro area. You'll acquire new SaaS customers and expand revenue within existing accounts. This role requires a proactive approach to sales and understanding of lab operations.
You are a proactive, field-oriented commercial representative with a deep understanding of how scientists purchase supplies and how labs operate on a day-to-day basis. With experience in structured sales cycles, you excel at prospecting into new labs and expanding accounts post-close. You have credibility with scientists, lab managers, procurement, and finance teams, and you enjoy being inside labs to grasp real workflows and buying patterns. You are eager to learn about SaaS sales and broaden your skill set, aiming for a material impact on a profitable, scaling business.
As a Territory Manager at Quartzy, you will own gross profit dollar growth across a defined book of business in the Boston metro area. Your responsibilities will include acquiring new SaaS customers and expanding revenue within existing accounts. You will drive e-commerce adoption across every logo in your territory, ensuring that you hunt for net-new logos while deepening relationships in existing accounts. You will influence scientists and procurement teams to buy more through Quartzy, introducing new product categories and promotions to expand Quartzy’s share of wallet. Collaboration is key, as you will partner with Marketing on campaigns that support both SaaS and e-commerce, while coordinating with Supply, Software, Pricing, Customer Success, and Operations to relay field insights and strengthen the company across the board.
