Director, Product Management - Threat Detection

Towards the end of our interview process is an in-person interview.

As the leader of the Security Content product line, you will be responsible for the entire lifecycle, from strategic vision to market success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and champion a compelling product vision & strategy for threat detection across Corelight’s portfolio. You will deeply understand the market, attacker TTPs, and customer needs to build and align the company around your vision and a detailed strategic roadmap.
• Drive the innovation to develop novel data sources, unique network derived threat intelligence, and advanced ML/AI-based detections. You will manage our key contributions into open-source communities like Zeek and Suricata, ensuring Corelight remains at the cutting edge.
• Lead cross-functional execution across a triad of Labs (Research/Data Science), Engineering (Appliance/SaaS), and UX to innovate, build, and iterate on product features, constantly validating our direction with direct customer feedback.
• Partner closely with marketing, sales, and customer success to ensure successful product launches and drive adoption. You'll equip the GTM team with the narrative, tools, and training they need to win.
• Build a world-class team -- recruit, lead, and develop a high-performing team of product managers focused on delivering exceptional security value to our customers.

Minimum Requirements: 

• We're looking for a leader who is passionate about cybersecurity and thrives on building innovative products.
• 5-10 years in product management leadership, with a proven track record of building and launching successful technical products in the enterprise security space.
• A strong understanding of the Network Detection & Response (NDR) market. Fluent in technologies such as IDS, malware detection, network forensics. Hands-on familiarity with open-source tools like Zeek and Suricata. Deep understanding of modern threat detection techniques, network analytics, and the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• You have exceptional communication skills and a demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, Agile/Scrum environment.
• You are a self-motivated, detail-oriented leader who can balance long-term strategic goals with the immediate needs of execution.
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience is highly valued. An MBA is a plus.
