Google is seeking a Product Solutions Engineer to support customer experiences for the Google Store and Google Fi. You'll work with client-side web technologies and programming languages like Java and JavaScript. This role requires 3+ years of experience in technical troubleshooting and data analysis.
You have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. With at least 3 years of experience working with client-side web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, you are well-versed in coding with programming languages including Java, C/C++, and Python. Your experience troubleshooting technical issues for both internal and external partners or customers has equipped you with the skills needed to effectively communicate technical findings. You also have a solid background in data analysis, particularly with SQL and MySQL, which allows you to derive insights from complex datasets. A Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred, along with experience in operations management, project management, and analytics. You possess the ability to read technical documentation and clearly articulate technical issues to team members, fostering collaboration and understanding.
As a Product Solutions Engineer, you will serve as the go-to technical expert for customer support and logistics platforms. Your mission is to ensure that the technical processes are streamlined for onboarding new logistics partners and expanding to new countries. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to write solution code and propose technical solutions that reduce known contact drivers. Your role will involve developing and managing effective documentation, including recommendations, tutorials, and sample code, to enhance the user experience. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues by gathering information, identifying potential causes, and testing solutions. Your contributions will directly impact the customer experience, ensuring that users of the Google Store and Google Fi receive the support they need. You will work closely with engineering teams to brainstorm and implement innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
