With at least 5 years of experience in AI and machine learning, you have a proven track record of building production systems that leverage advanced analytics and responsible AI principles. Your technical prowess is complemented by exceptional leadership skills, allowing you to drive the development of next-generation research enablement platforms and AI-driven data products. You thrive in collaborative environments and are passionate about creating innovative solutions that enhance user experiences.

You possess deep expertise in MLOps and are familiar with state-of-the-art tools such as Databricks. Your experience includes working with large language models (LLMs) and research agents, ensuring that the systems you build are not only powerful but also responsible and ethical. You understand the importance of integrating best practices in AI development and are committed to upholding these standards in your work.

You are a problem solver at heart, always looking for ways to improve internal application architecture and create new AI-enabled products. What you'll do

As a Senior AI Engineer at Guidepoint, you will be an integral part of the Toronto-based AI team, responsible for architecting and building production systems that leverage Generative AI. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop scalable AI/ML capabilities that enhance Guidepoint's research enablement platform and data products. Your role will involve designing and implementing AI-driven solutions that meet the needs of our users while adhering to responsible AI practices.

You will lead the development of large language model applications and research agents, ensuring that these systems are integrated seamlessly into our existing infrastructure. Your expertise in MLOps will be crucial as you work to optimize the deployment and monitoring of AI models, ensuring they perform reliably in production environments. You will also be responsible for mentoring junior engineers and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration within the team.

In addition to technical responsibilities, you will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of Guidepoint's AI initiatives. You will work closely with product managers and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI integration and drive the development of new features that enhance user experiences.
