Overview
GitLab is seeking a Mid-Level Enablement Data and Reporting Analyst to build the data foundation that demonstrates the impact of enablement programs on sales performance. You'll work with GitLab and SQL to establish reporting frameworks. This role is fully remote in Canada or the United States.

You have a strong background in data analysis and reporting, with experience in building frameworks that measure performance and impact. You understand the importance of data in driving business decisions and have a knack for translating complex data into actionable insights. Your proficiency in SQL allows you to manipulate and analyze data effectively, ensuring that the information you provide is both accurate and relevant. You are familiar with GitLab and its functionalities, enabling you to leverage the platform to enhance your reporting capabilities. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals. You are detail-oriented and possess excellent problem-solving skills, which help you identify trends and patterns in data that can inform strategic decisions.
Desirable
Experience with AI and its applications in data reporting is a plus, as is familiarity with sales performance metrics. You may have worked in a similar role within a tech company, giving you insights into the unique challenges and opportunities in this space. A background in DevSecOps or software development can also be beneficial, as it aligns with GitLab's mission and product offerings.
What you'll do
As an Enablement Data and Reporting Analyst, you will play a crucial role in shaping the data landscape for GitLab's Field Enablement Operations team. Your primary responsibility will be to build and maintain the data foundation that illustrates how enablement programs influence sales performance. You will collaborate closely with sales and enablement teams to gather requirements and understand their data needs, ensuring that your reporting frameworks are aligned with their objectives. You will design and implement dashboards and reports that provide insights into key performance indicators, helping stakeholders make informed decisions. Your analytical skills will be put to the test as you identify trends and anomalies in the data, providing recommendations for improvements based on your findings.
