Handshake is seeking Archivists for a temporary AI Trainer role to evaluate AI models in their field. This position is remote and requires no prior AI experience, focusing on providing structured feedback based on professional expertise.
You have at least 4 years of professional experience in archival work or a related field, which equips you with the context needed to evaluate and train AI models effectively. Your background includes managing and organizing archival records, developing classification systems, and maintaining databases for easy access and retrieval. You are comfortable working independently and can deliver clear, structured feedback that enhances AI understanding of workplace tasks and language. You are adaptable and open to learning new skills as you contribute to the evolving landscape of AI in your field.
In this role, you will leverage your professional experience to evaluate AI models, providing insights that help improve their performance in your area of expertise. You will develop prompts for AI models that accurately reflect your field and assess the responses generated by these models. Your work will be flexible, allowing you to choose your hours and work asynchronously from anywhere in the United States. You will participate in a year-round program with project opportunities opening periodically, ensuring that your contributions are impactful and relevant.
