Google is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead compliance implementation projects. You'll work with security compliance frameworks and manage cross-functional teams. This role requires 5+ years of program management experience.
You have a Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 5 years of experience in program management. Your background includes working on technical projects and managing cross-functional or cross-team initiatives. You possess a strong understanding of control management, particularly in the creation and implementation of compliance processes. Your experience with security compliance frameworks, such as AICPA Trust Principles (e.g., SOC 2), ISO 27000 series, and NIST Controls, sets you apart. You are adept at managing execution and ensuring high-quality delivery, understanding that a problem isn’t truly solved until it’s resolved for all stakeholders.
As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish, utilizing your technical expertise to drive compliance initiatives. You will collaborate with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, and manage project schedules, ensuring clear communication with cross-functional partners across the organization. Your role will involve supporting Risk, Resiliency, and Regulatory Governance for various teams within Google, including Research, Labs, Technology and Society, and Learning and Sustainability Organizations. You will be responsible for driving the implementation of global regulations related to emerging information security, data privacy, consumer protection, and AI governance frameworks. Your ability to communicate schedules, priorities, and status updates to all levels of the organization will be crucial in this role.
At Google, you will be part of a team that is dedicated to creating opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. You will have the chance to work on impactful projects that anticipate risk and remove barriers to compliance processes. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we value diverse perspectives and backgrounds.
