You are an experienced Office Manager with a strong background in administrative support and operations. You thrive in a front-facing role, ensuring that the environment is welcoming and organized. Your relational skills allow you to effectively coordinate with various ministries and engage with the community. You understand the importance of maintaining smooth operations in a dynamic environment, and you are committed to the mission of social justice and community support. You have a knack for project management and enjoy working collaboratively with diverse teams to achieve common goals. You are adaptable and can handle multiple tasks while maintaining a focus on quality and efficiency.
As the Office Manager at GLIDE, you will serve as the operational anchor for GLIDE Memorial Church. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the daily functions of the church, ensuring that all operations run smoothly. You will provide consistent administrative and clerical support to various ministries, including Music, AV, Congregational Life & Community Engagement, and Arts and Liturgy. You will coordinate schedules, manage communications, and assist in organizing events and activities that enhance the church's spiritual and communal life. Your role will involve maintaining organized records, managing supplies, and ensuring that the church environment is responsive to the needs of its members and visitors. You will also engage with community members, fostering a sense of belonging and support within the church.
