SoFi is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join their Member Growth team. You'll design innovative solutions to enhance user engagement and financial independence. This role requires expertise in JavaScript, React, and Node.js.
You have 5+ years of experience in full-stack software engineering, with a strong focus on building scalable applications that enhance user experiences. Your expertise in JavaScript, React, and Node.js allows you to create dynamic and responsive web applications that meet user needs effectively. You are collaborative and product-minded, understanding the importance of working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products. You take ownership of your work and are accountable for the quality of both the code and the finished product, ensuring that every feature you develop aligns with user expectations and business goals.

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer at SoFi, you will be part of the Member Growth engineering team, where your primary responsibility will be to design and implement features that help our members achieve financial independence. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to create user-friendly applications that provide timely insights and resources tailored to our members' needs. Your role will involve writing clean, maintainable code and conducting code reviews to ensure the highest quality standards are met.
You will participate in the full software development lifecycle, from initial concept and design through to deployment and monitoring. This includes gathering requirements, designing system architecture, and implementing solutions that are both scalable and efficient. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and debugging issues that arise in production, ensuring that our applications run smoothly and efficiently.
In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will play a key role in mentoring junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their careers. You will contribute to a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, where team members are encouraged to share ideas and feedback openly. Your insights will help shape the direction of our products and the overall strategy of the engineering team.
