Overview

Google is seeking a SoC System Level Test Engineer to develop and optimize testing solutions for custom silicon products. You'll work with Linux, Python, and TCP/IP protocols in Zhubei. This role requires 2+ years of experience in product or test engineering.

Job Description

Who you are

You hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, and have at least 2 years of experience in product engineering or test engineering. Your background includes experience in System Level Test development for New Product Introduction (NPI) or High Volume Manufacturing. You are proficient in Linux/Unix and Python programming, and have a solid understanding of TCP/Internet Protocol network configuration. A Master's degree in a relevant field and 8 years of experience with hardware and semiconductor testing are preferred, along with knowledge of ASIC/SoC Boot processes and CPU performance testing. You are eager to contribute to a team that pushes boundaries and develops innovative silicon solutions that power Google's products.

What you'll do

In this role, you will design and build systems within Google's computing infrastructure, developing from circuit design to system design and overseeing the transition to high volume manufacturing. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams globally, including ATE and SLT Test Engineering, Packaging, Supplier Management, and Operations, to ensure the success of System Level Tests. Your responsibilities will include developing, debugging, and optimizing SLT test content for manufacturing screening. You will also implement secure ASIC/SoC manufacturing solutions, including Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and SLT handlers. Your expertise will help shape the next generation of hardware experiences, delivering unparalleled performance and efficiency.
