Overview

DoorDash USA is hiring a Shift Lead in Fort Worth to oversee operations at their DashMart local-fulfillment center. You'll be responsible for managing shifts, maintaining inventory, and ensuring high-quality customer service. This role requires experience in fast-paced environments and strong leadership skills.

Who you are

You are a motivated and experienced individual who excels in fast-paced, physical environments. You are excited to roll up your sleeves and actively engage in day-to-day operations. You take ownership of your assigned shifts, ensuring that warehouse and kitchen processes run smoothly while maintaining safety and cleanliness. You understand the importance of quality and training, and you are accountable for inventory and equipment management.

You have a strong focus on customer satisfaction, ensuring that orders are fulfilled accurately and that communication with customers is clear and effective. You are a natural leader, guiding Operations Associates through their shifts and ensuring that the team works safely and productively. You thrive in an environment where you can make a direct impact on the team's performance and customer experience.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for fulfilling orders in a warehouse environment, which may include preparing food in a light-prep kitchen. You will oversee the daily operations of the DashMart, ensuring that all processes are executed efficiently and effectively. You will maintain accountability for inventory management, ensuring that all products are properly handled and stored to prevent loss or theft.

You will lead your team by delegating tasks and providing guidance to ensure that all associates are working towards common goals. You will monitor the quality of orders being fulfilled and address any issues that arise during the shift. Your leadership will help create a positive work environment where team members feel supported and motivated to perform their best.

You will also be responsible for communicating with customers to resolve any issues that may arise during the order fulfillment process. Your ability to handle customer inquiries and concerns will be crucial in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. You will work closely with Site Management to ensure that all operational standards are met and that the DashMart runs smoothly.
