Specialist Software Engineer, CX (Java, AWS)

Who you are

You have over 8 years of proven experience in Java programming, demonstrating a deep understanding of data structures, threading, object-oriented programming (OOP), design patterns, functional programming, and memory optimization. Your expertise extends to developing web applications and web services using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot frameworks, ensuring that you can deliver robust solutions that meet high standards.

You possess strong hands-on experience with microservice architecture and RESTful API development, allowing you to design scalable systems that can handle varying loads efficiently. Your familiarity with message brokers like Kafka and API Gateway/reverse proxy systems is a valuable asset, enhancing your ability to create seamless integrations.

You are proficient in working with both relational and NoSQL databases such as Postgres, Redis, and Amazon Aurora, which equips you to manage data effectively and optimize performance. Your understanding of cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS, enables you to leverage cloud services to enhance application capabilities and reliability.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining contact center applications, focusing specifically on routing functionality. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, system architects, and contact center managers, to deliver cutting-edge solutions that enhance our contact center operations. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency of call flows and the overall customer experience.

You will design and implement robust and scalable routing solutions, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of performance and reliability. Your role will involve not only coding but also participating in architectural discussions and code reviews, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the team.

You will engage in troubleshooting and debugging complex issues, applying your extensive knowledge of Java and related technologies to resolve challenges swiftly. Additionally, you will mentor junior engineers, sharing your expertise and helping them grow in their roles.
