VideoAmp is seeking a Principal Data Engineer to shape the next generation of their data and measurement products. You'll architect large-scale ML systems and elevate data quality across the organization. This role requires expertise in AWS, Python, and SQL.
You have 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on building and optimizing data pipelines that support machine learning and analytics. Your expertise in AWS and Python allows you to design scalable solutions that meet the needs of a growing organization. You are proficient in SQL and have experience with data warehousing solutions, ensuring data integrity and accessibility for stakeholders. Your knowledge of Apache Spark and Airflow enables you to manage complex workflows and automate data processing tasks effectively. You are familiar with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes, which you leverage to deploy and manage applications in cloud environments. You understand the importance of data quality and have implemented strategies to monitor and improve data accuracy across various systems.
Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries is a plus, as you will be involved in shaping ML systems. Familiarity with PostgreSQL and other database technologies will help you in managing data storage and retrieval efficiently. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy mentoring junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and best practices to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
